Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 (8 oz) cream cheese
  • 2 (3.4 oz) boxes instant vanilla pudding
  • 3 cups cold milk
  • 1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping
  • Optional chocolate syrup for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a saucepan, bring water and butter to a boil. Add flour, stir vigorously until dough forms a ball.
  3. Cool slightly. Beat in eggs one at a time. Spread in greased 9x13" pan.
  4. Bake 25–30 minutes until puffed and golden. Let cool completely.
  5. Beat cream cheese. In a separate bowl, mix pudding and milk. Combine both until smooth.
  6. Spread filling over cooled crust.
  7. Top with whipped topping and optional chocolate drizzle.
  8. Chill 2–4 hours before serving.

Notes

Use homemade whipped cream for a fresher taste. Can be made a day ahead.
