Spinach Puff Pastry Pinwheels

Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 1 cup cooked spinach very well drained and chopped
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella or cheese blend
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix spinach, cream cheese, shredded cheese, and seasonings until smooth.
  3. Roll puff pastry slightly and spread filling evenly over surface.
  4. Roll tightly into a log and chill for 10 minutes.
  5. Slice into pinwheels and place on baking sheet.
  6. Brush lightly with egg wash.
  7. Bake 18–20 minutes until golden and puffed.
  8. Cool slightly and serve.

Notes

  • Drain spinach thoroughly
  • Chill before slicing for clean cuts
  • Best served warm or room temperature
