Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz pasta spaghetti or linguine
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve some pasta water.
  2. Heat oil and butter in a skillet.
  3. Cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  4. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  5. Stir in lemon juice and pasta water.
  6. Return shrimp and add cooked pasta.
  7. Toss everything together and cook briefly.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

  • Use pasta water for a silky sauce
  • Avoid overcooking shrimp
  • Add herbs for freshness
