Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb mushrooms button or cremini
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: fresh parsley parmesan, chili flakes, lemon juice

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Clean mushrooms and pat dry thoroughly.
  3. Toss mushrooms with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread mushrooms in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  5. Roast for 12 minutes.
  6. Remove pan, add garlic, toss, and return to oven.
  7. Roast another 8–10 minutes until golden and crisp.
  8. Finish with optional toppings and serve hot.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the pan
  • Add garlic halfway to prevent burning
  • Best served immediately after roasting
