Ingredients
  

  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 1 pound ground beef or ground chicken
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes for topping
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • ¼ cup sour cream optional topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease mini muffin pan.
  2. Brown ground meat in skillet. Drain grease.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water. Simmer until thick.
  4. Press wonton wrappers into muffin tin cups.
  5. Fill each with taco mixture. Top with cheese.
  6. Bake 10–12 minutes until golden and crisp.
  7. Cool slightly, remove from pan, and add fresh toppings.

Notes

  • Don’t overfill cups to prevent sogginess.
  • Lightly spray wrappers with oil for extra crisp edges.
  • Best served fresh and warm.
