Ingredients
  

  • 2 cod fillets about 6 oz each
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice fresh
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Pat cod dry and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat butter in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
  4. Place cod in the pan and cook 3–4 minutes.
  5. Flip and cook another 2–3 minutes until flaky.
  6. Add lemon juice and spoon butter over the fish.
  7. Remove from heat and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use fresh cod for best texture
  • Don’t overcook or fish will become dry
  • Add herbs for extra freshness
