Method
- Pat cod dry and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Heat butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Add garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
- Place cod in the pan and cook 3–4 minutes.
- Flip and cook another 2–3 minutes until flaky.
- Add lemon juice and spoon butter over the fish.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use fresh cod for best texture
- Don’t overcook or fish will become dry
- Add herbs for extra freshness
