Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb steak sirloin or ribeye, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: fresh herbs

Method
 

  1. Season steak with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add steak in a single layer and sear.
  4. Flip and cook briefly.
  5. Add butter and garlic.
  6. Toss to coat in garlic butter.
  7. Remove from heat and serve.

Notes

  • Use high heat for best sear
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan
  • Add garlic at the end
