Method
- Season chicken with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Add mushrooms to the skillet and cook until golden.
- Stir in garlic and cook briefly.
- Lower heat and add heavy cream and cream cheese. Stir until smooth.
- Add parmesan and Italian seasoning and simmer until thickened.
- Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes. Serve hot.
Notes
- Use fresh mushrooms for best texture
- Do not boil the sauce
- Best served fresh
