Method
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place toppings in small bowls so they are ready.
- Add chocolate to a microwave-safe bowl.
- Microwave in 20 to 30 second bursts, stirring after each, until smooth.
- Stir in coconut oil or shortening if the chocolate is too thick.
- Dip each pretzel into the melted chocolate.
- Tap off extra chocolate against the side of the bowl.
- Place dipped pretzels on the parchment-lined tray.
- Add sprinkles, nuts, or salt while the chocolate is still wet.
- Drizzle with melted white chocolate if using.
- Let set at room temperature, or chill for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Store in an airtight container once firm.
