Ingredients
  

  • 24 pretzel rods or 3 cups mini pretzels
  • 12 ounces chocolate melting wafers or semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil or shortening optional
  • 1/3 cup sprinkles
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts optional
  • 2 ounces white chocolate or candy melts optional for drizzle
  • 1/4 teaspoon flaky sea salt optional

Method
 

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place toppings in small bowls so they are ready.
  3. Add chocolate to a microwave-safe bowl.
  4. Microwave in 20 to 30 second bursts, stirring after each, until smooth.
  5. Stir in coconut oil or shortening if the chocolate is too thick.
  6. Dip each pretzel into the melted chocolate.
  7. Tap off extra chocolate against the side of the bowl.
  8. Place dipped pretzels on the parchment-lined tray.
  9. Add sprinkles, nuts, or salt while the chocolate is still wet.
  10. Drizzle with melted white chocolate if using.
  11. Let set at room temperature, or chill for 10 to 15 minutes.
  12. Store in an airtight container once firm.
