Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • 2 packets chicken gravy mix
  • 1 can 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup sour cream optional
  • Fresh parsley optional

Method
 

  1. Add chicken to slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together soup, broth, gravy mix, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Pour over chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
  5. Shred chicken in the slow cooker and stir.
  6. Add sour cream, if using, and stir until smooth.
  7. Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.

Notes

  • Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days.
  • Use low-sodium soup and broth to control salt.
