Cheddar Bacon Pinwheels

Flaky cheddar bacon pinwheels packed with melty cheese and crispy bacon. Easy party appetizer that disappears fast and works for any occasion.

Ingredients
  

  • Puff pastry or crescent dough
  • Shredded cheddar cheese
  • Bacon cooked and crumbled
  • Black pepper
  • Garlic powder optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Cook bacon until crisp; crumble and cool.
  3. Mix bacon with cheddar and season lightly.
  4. Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread filling evenly.
  5. Roll tightly into a log and slice into rounds.
  6. Arrange pinwheels cut-side down on baking sheet.
  7. Bake 14–16 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Sharp cheddar gives the best flavor
  • Chill before slicing for cleaner pinwheels
