Ingredients
  

  • Elbow macaroni
  • Butter
  • Milk
  • Shredded cheddar cheese
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Breadcrumbs or panko
  • Parmesan cheese optional

Method
 

  1. Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain.
  2. Stir in butter, milk, cheddar, mozzarella, salt, and pepper until creamy.
  3. Let mixture cool slightly.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease mini muffin pan.
  5. Fill each cup with mac and cheese, pressing gently.
  6. Sprinkle breadcrumbs or parmesan on top.
  7. Bake 12–15 minutes until set and lightly golden.
  8. Cool 5 minutes before removing.

Notes

  • Use sharp cheddar for better flavor
  • Cooling helps the bites hold together
  • Can add bacon bits or jalapeños
